At Corabbey Dental, we have five dental hygienists dedicated to helping patients maintain a healthy smile.
Many studies have shown that most people do not know how to brush or floss properly. One of our hygienists’ jobs is to make sure our patients know how to look after their teeth properly.
The role of the dental hygienist is very important in the clinic. They ensure that our patients look after their gums. Gum disease is one of the most difficult conditions to treat in the oral cavity. It is quite common for patients to ignore bleeding gums. This means that often by the time a patient seeks treatment the condition is very advanced and extractions are inevitable. Our hygienists also ensure patients maintain nice white teeth.
Our Dental Hygienists are Karen Hayes, Gillian Murphy, Áine Neary, Lisa Kelly and Ieva Vilkaja who will help you with your smile. All our hygienists have qualified with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene from Cork University Dental Hospital CUDH.
