Dr. John Browne BDS NUI, MSc(Endodontics)
John is a native of Cork and qualified with a BDS from UCC in 2002. He worked in general practice for 7 years in both the Ireland and the UK before starting a full time Masters programme in Endodontics (root canal treatments) at the Eastman Dental Institute in London which he completed in 2010. Since then he returned to Ireland and has limited his practice to Endodontics.
Dr Browne undertakes all aspects of Endodontics such as diagnosis
of facial pain, primary root treatments, re-treatments (including instrument and post removal) and surgical treatments. John also has a special interest in the assessment, treatment and follow-up of dental injuries due to sports and other trauma.
Root canal treatment, contrary to popular belief, is in the majority of cases a painless procedure. Dr Browne aims to ensure this by effective local anaesthetic techniques which eliminate any pain. The aim of root canal treatment is not to cause pain but to relieve it and to help you keep your tooth
